When I was in college the web was a very different place. It was a feudal era of Web Masters staking claim to subjective territories while establishing confusing labyrinths of information. It was a no-holds-barred world that embodied the idea of “If we can do it, we should do it”. This led to a battleground of useless scripts manipulating images to look like a they were reflected in a wavy pool of water and dancing 3D babies.
